Gucci is a recognized name in luxury fashion, so its store and office interiors are designed to be luxurious, as well. The company leases 80,000 square feet across two floors at 195 Broadway in New York City’s Financial District; the space is used for offices and a showroom.

The interior maintains some of the historic building’s original architectural features but is predominantly designed with modern, spare lines and sleek materials. Dark furnishings and black steel stairs contrast with light-colored walls and floors.

Almost 4,000 -- 3,700 -- bags of Rapid Set® products were used to renovate the concrete floor. Shot-blasting was performed to prep the surface and give it a rough profile to promote adhesion of overlay products. Patching the floor, priming with Acrylic Primer and applying LevelFlor® also helped ready the surface for overlay.

Cement All® was used for patching prior to using LevelFlor. LevelFlor was pumped, and TRU® PC Polished Concrete was mixed and placed with CS Unitec Hippo Mixers, using integral pigment. The floors were finished with TRU® PC Spiked Rollers, ground and polished with a SASE system.
