Eisenwall speeds up the process of exterior plastering on job sites. Eisenwall can take a stucco job down from 10 days to 3, and is stronger and more resistant to damage. With the amount of time savings, more plastering contractors are using Eisenwall for stucco applications.
Eisenwall was used on the back and both sides and underneath the stage. With traditional cement, the project might have taken weeks, but this one was completed in a couple days. Since the project was behind schedule, it was the perfect solution because using Eisenwall saved two to three weeks.
The Eisenwall scratch coat was placed on the interior and exterior walls in just one day. The brown coat was applied the next morning and cured within a few hours. OnePass was then applied to the interior walls and precast pieces were erected on the exterior wall over the next two days. Once the precast pieces were in place, Stucco Patch was used to replicate the exterior wall pattern and texture. By using Rapid Set products, the entryway of the Embassy Suites Hotel was completed in one month.
Eisenwall is strong, durable, fast-setting, and has very low shrinkage. It can be scratched and browned in one day. The stucco color coat or acrylic finish can be applied the next day. Because equipment gets released sooner and there are fewer call backs, contractors save time and money.
Because the work to install stucco had to be coordinated with other trades and scheduled around tenants residing in the building, the contractor needed a stucco product that would let crews scratch, brown, color, and clean up multiple five-by-nine-foot walls in one workday. Eisenwall was the only product that would allow the crew to complete a wall in one day.
When construction of a White Castle was behind schedule, the stucco exterior was completed in less than one week including scratch, brown and color. The process typically takes three weeks with traditional stucco and would have required scaffolding to be in place for the entire time. Using Eisenwall also allowed for the scaffolding to be removed more quickly.
In extreme weather environments, rapid-setting plaster can be specified to access the beauty and durability of a traditional plaster finish while still minimizing the risks and costs associated with portland cement plastering. Applicators must be certified to use rapid-setting plaster, ensuring the material is handled properly. Combined with best practices, it helps minimize the risk of cracking.
When Coast Packing Co. made plans to convert a large industrial freezer area into three smaller freezer rooms at its headquarters, the owner specified smooth stucco walls. Coast’s maintenance department needed to build and finish the stucco walls with materials that could withstand cold-storage temperatures during placement as well as after. Products used include Light, OnePass, and Stucco Mix.
