Aloft Tampa Downtown is a hip hotel that’s just steps from museums, parks, restaurants, nightlife, sports, wedding venues, and shopping in Tampa, Fla. Before opening in 2014, the boutique hotel was an abandoned, historic bank building with a flooded ground floor. A two-year renovation transformed the site into what is today: A high-end luxury property whose design centers around a cocktail lounge/lobby with lustrous polished concrete floors.

Level-Tech Systems of Florida was tasked with installing an underlayment and polished concrete overlayment. The materials were each mixed with a strong pump and then placed in the humid Tampa weather. The surface was finished with a gauge and porcupine roll.
