• What is Liquid Low-P?

  CTS LIQUID LOW—P is a high-performance admixture designed to extend the life of reinforced concrete structures by creating a protective barrier around the embedded steel that protects against corrosion, repels water, and reduces chloride-ion permeability.

• Is Liquid Low-P intended to be used only with Rapid Set cement and products?

  Liquid Low-P may be used with Rapid Set Cement concrete and portland cement concrete.

• How Much Liquid Low-P do I need per mix?

  For bulk applications using Rapid Set cement, we recommend using 10.0 fl. oz per 100 lbs of cement. When used with portland cement, we suggest using it at your discretion.

• How do I mix it?

  For best results, we recommend adding Liquid Low-P using traditional concrete mixing methods

• Can Liquid Low-P be used in mortars?

  Yes, you may add Liquid Low-P to a mortar to add the benefits it provides. We recommend keeping the same ratio of 10.0 fl. oz. per 100 lbs of cement.

• If I have leftover material, can I reuse it?

  Yes, Liquid Low-P can be stored in a tank on a volumetric truck and dosed as needed. It has a shelf life of 12 months when stored properly in a 40°F to 104°F location out of direct sunlight and in a tightly closed container. It is critical to prevent the material from freezing.

• Can Liquid Low-P be used in combination with other admixtures such as retarders?

  Yes, retarders and plasticizers can be used in combination with Liquid Low P.
