When the project got behind schedule during construction, Smith Plastering, who was hired to perform the stucco portion of the project, suggested using Eisenwall to fast track the schedule.
In extreme weather environments, rapid-setting plaster can be specified to access the beauty and durability of a traditional plaster finish while still minimizing the risks and costs associated with portland cement plastering. Product used is Eisenwall.
Stucco had to be installed on the newly built exterior balcony walls as well as a 4-foot-high parapet that ran along the outside of the roof. Because the work had to be coordinated with other trades, and scheduled around tenants residing in the building, the contractor’s biggest challenge was in finding a stucco product that would allow crews to scratch, brown, color, and clean up multiple five-by-nine-foot walls in one workday. Product used was Eisenwall.
