GARDEN GROVE, Calif. – CTS Cement Manufacturing Corp., manufacturer of professional-grade Rapid Set® calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement, expands its Home Depot flooring products line with Rapid Set® All Tile Mortar: mortar strong enough to place large-format tiles on walls and floors.

The Tile Council of America defines “large-format” tile as any tile with at least one 15-inch edge. Polymer-modified Rapid Set® All Tile Mortar is the only material on the market that sets large-format tile made of virtually any material – ceramic, mosaic, porcelain, quarry, glass, veneer, cement, and natural stone (slate, travertine, marble, limestone, and granite) – on walls as well as floors. It’s formulated to provide a long open time and high bond strength in thin- and medium-bed applications.

Rapid Set® All Tile Mortar is mixed and applied like any tile-setting mortar. Just add water and place up to ¾-inch thick (in horizontal applications) on concrete, plywood, lightweight concrete or gypsum. Grout the same day. Extended working time of 30 minutes ensures crews won’t be rushed when working with these sometimes-unwieldy and expensive tiles.
